Sanur
If you’d like to go somewhere less busy, and near the venue (30 minutes) you should stay at Sanur! Called the “old Bali”, it used to be the tourist-y area before Canggu, Uluwatu, etc. came up. It’s also close to the port, in case you’re interested in visiting the other islands for a day trip!
